Holy Week Meditations

It is my sincere hope that you have been keeping a holy Lent as we wind down to the end of our journey, to Jerusalem, to confront the authorities, to the Passion and the Resurrection. It is an amazing time for us, if we take a break from the hubbub and personal concerns, giving our hearts and attentions to GOD for this one week, this potent time of discernment and hope for new life.

There is such power in this time. But it can go quickly, and we can get ourselves lost in the race to the resurrection. That is why I’d like to share with you these meditations I wrote for Holy Week. Each day I am publishing a meditation for the corresponding day of Jesus’s last week according the gospel we call Mark.

The best place to start is the beginning, with my introduction to the meditations. From there, you can click on the link to each day as they are posted.

Please also consider joining us in person, if you are able, for these important worship opportunities:

  • Thursday, 7 pm – Maundy Thursday
  • Friday, noon – Good Friday
  • Saturday, 8 pm – The Great Vigil of Easter
  • Sunday, 8 & 10 am – Easter: the feast of the Resurrection

Blessings as you continue your journey through Holy Week!

Rev. Drew

P.S. – Don’t forget to check out the meditations here!
