Christian Discovery for Children and Youth Is Here!

What used to be Sunday school is now Christian Discovery. Bill Allen and Orbie Bryan are co-conveners are this new program, which launched on September 15. We’re be using a new ecumenical curriculum called Feasting on the Word. Christian Discovery happens after the 10 o’clock service. We allow a short time for snacks and moving to other parts of the building and finish by 12:15 pm. (A Christian Discovery program for adults will run concurrently beginning in October.) Everyone in the congregation is invited to be part of this ministry of engaging the next generation in anticipating and discovering the joy and fullness of the experience of God in Christian community. We’re all called to pray, but there’s need for adults and kids to get involved in other ways too. Sign up in the Cloister Room on Sundays or talk to Bill or Orbie. There’s a place for you in Christian Discovery.
