This group of needlecrafters met regularly for fellowship and to work on a variety of fiber arts and crafts—sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. Crafty SewNSews have created quilts for new babies, prayer shawls for the sick, and lap robes for oncology patients. They also coordinate with other needleworkers in the congregation to create hats and scarves for the Seamen’s Church Institute and families we “adopt” for Christmas. The coordinator of the SewNSews retired at annual meeting in 2014 to make room for new leadership and a new vision. In the meantime, needlecrafters gather around a table during coffee hour.
